Mayor: Marcos Benilson Gonçalves Maldonado 

Technical-administrative employee at UFRJ, graduated and post-graduated in Public Management, with several courses in the areas of hospital administration, financial administration, public budget, quality management, control and management of purchases and stocks, participatory  management. He held several positions at UFRJ, adding vast management experience: financial director of Decania of the Center for Philosophy and Human Sciences (CFCH), bringing together knowledge and practices in purchasing, material control and bidding; administrative superintendent of the Science and Culture Forum (FCC); administrative superintendent of the Clementino Fraga Filho University Hospital (HUCFF); administrative manager of the Edson Saad Heart Institute (ICES); administrative manager at the Alberto Luiz Coimbra Institute for Postgraduate Studies and Engineering Research (Coppe), where he implemented the Quality Management System, having received the Gold Self Audit Award from Coppe-Q/Coppe, First Level in the area.

Deputy-Mayor: Celso José da Silva Almeida

Technical-administrative employee at UFRJ, Celso Almeida has a degree in Human Resources Administration, with a specialization in the area and joined the institution in 1994. During his career at the University, he held the position of Administrative Director of the Campus Administration for 12 years (1999-2011), Assistant to the Mayor’s Office (2011-2015), Deputy Mayor (2015-2019) and has been holding the same position in the current administration since 2019.
